He is the one true reason we can have a relationship with God.”

Who is He? Skeptics consider Him as just a good man or prophet. But Jesus claimed to be God. He didn’t leave any other option. So either He is or he isn’t. Is He a liar or is He Lord?
In my eyes there is no possible way He is a liar. I don’t think one man could have successfully carried out a plan to be the purest, most morally perfect character in history, perform such miracles, sacrifice His own life, rise from the dead and make an impact of such a great magnitude causing an unending ripple throughout history, if He wasn’t God. Wherever Jesus has been proclaimed, lives have been transformed, nations have changed, people have been healed, people with vast addictions are cured, miracle after miracle has happened. No other man in history has caused a revolution even close to what Jesus has.
About 170,000 Christians are martyred around the world every year. They believe with every fiber of their being that Jesus Christ is God. There is nothing that can be done to make them deny Him. Just hearing that alone makes me think that there is no way Jesus was just a really good liar.
He said in John 14:6, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
If you believe that Jesus is God then wasn’t the cross the most perfect act of humility the world has ever seen or will ever see? Jesus –By Him all things were created and for Him. Not just a good teacher but the actual creator. Jesus-king of kings and lord or lords takes on the form of a man becomes a servant to all of us to the point where he is crucified on a cross, just so that He can rescue us. We all need saving.
Who is Jesus to me? He is my rescuer and my Lord.
I woke up this morning and read about yet another major earthquake in the world. It’s so sad and scary because I’m watching all the things the Bible describes as signs of the end of times come to pass. This world will end some day. We’re not promised tomorrow, so don’t let it be too late. Don’t let what He sacrificed for you be for nothing. Someone actually loves you enough that He was tortured and brutally put to death so that He can secure that He will get the chance to be with you forever. There’s no greater love than that.
